Speaker's Bio

Dr Dominik Hamm is the Head of Department of Political Sciences at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik. His work focuses on the dynamics of political violence, hybrid conflicts and crisis communication. Before moving to Lebanon, Dominik was researching and teaching at Queen’s University Belfast, where he was awarded a PhD in Politics for the development of a Concept for Crisis Communication in Reaction to 21^st Century Islamic Terrorist Attacks.

Dominik has lived and worked in Lebanon, Germany, Spain, Austria, Costa Rica, and the UK, and participated in academic and management collaborations in New York City and Washington DC.
