About the Speaker

Ivan Debs is a renowned, independent artist, who identifies as a child of the burning sands of Africa and the luscious mountains of Lebanon. Passionate about painting, drawing and art in its entirety, he began working very early on with newspapers and magazines in different countries as well as many different projects in the art field. Recognized as an artist with a calm and discrete character, Ivan expresses himself best through his work. He has won national and international contests such as, but not limited to, Redbull, Samsung, Rotring, and Stephen Marley Artwork contests. Very committed to his belief, it is his fight as an artist to enlighten consciousness. As such, his art integrates poetry and resistance messages to his generation, inspiring them to search, discover, fight, and inspire.
